How do you charge for LCL shipments (CBM or KG)?
In most cases, if the volumetric weight is greater than the gross weight, we charge by CBM. If the gross weight is greater, we charge by KG.
What is the formula for volumetric weight?
The formula is: L(cm) x H(cm) x D(cm) / 6000. For example, a carton of 48x45x39cm = 14.04kg. Note: For Global Express, the factor is 5000.
Do I need to provide an EIN or PI for DDP service?
No, for DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service, you don't need to provide customs clearance information. We handle everything under our name and deliver directly to your destination.
What is required for DAP or PVA shipments to the UK/EU?
You must have your own VAT and EORI account. For PVA (Postponed VAT Accounting), you must also have VAT payment records for at least the previous three months.
How can you guarantee the lowest rates for fulfillment centers?
We utilize Container Freight Stations (CFS) at major ports like Los Angeles, Houston, and Savannah. By shipping goods directly to the nearest fulfillment center port, we minimize land transportation costs, which are more expensive than ocean freight.
